Kitap, resmi ideolojinin, Kemalizmin propagandas\u0131n\u0131 yapsa da; Maden ve yak\u0131n \u00e7evresi hakk\u0131nda ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapacak olanlar i\u00e7in yine de baz\u0131 verileri i\u00e7ermektedir. Ayr\u0131ca Kemalizm ve Kemalizm\u2019in &#8220;K\u00fcrt sorunu&#8221;na bak\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 anlamam\u0131z a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan da \u00e7ok iyi bir kaynak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maden \u0130li kitab\u0131nda ger\u00e7ekler tersy\u00fcz edilmektedir. \u00d6rne\u011fin &#8220;Madenin Be\u015fer\u00ee Vaziyeti&#8221; anlat\u0131l\u0131rken aynen \u015funlar yaz\u0131lmaktad\u0131r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Maden kazas\u0131n\u0131n ahalisi tamamen T\u00fcrkt\u00fcr. Bunlar, tabiat zorluklar\u0131 dolays\u0131yla ana yurtlar\u0131 olan Orta Asyadan muhaceret etmek mecburiyetinde kalan T\u00fcrklerdir. Bir k\u0131sm\u0131 Mezopotamyadan ve bir k\u0131sm\u0131 da Kafkaslardan inmek suretiyle bu m\u0131nt\u0131kaya gelmi\u015flerdir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(\u2026) Bunlar\u0131n, as\u0131l anayurtlar\u0131ndan ayr\u0131larak Anadoluya gelip yerle\u015fmelerinin tarihi en az (7000) olarak hesaplanmaktad\u0131r.&#8221; (s. 7-8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa g\u00fcvenilir kaynaklara ba\u015fvurdu\u011fumuzda durumun hi\u00e7te yazar\u0131n yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 gibi olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Ben, sadece \u00fc\u00e7 eserden\/kaynaktan al\u0131nt\u0131 yapmakla yetinece\u011fim, gerisine siz karar verin:<br>1. \u011eugas \u0130ncicyan&#8217;\u0131n S. Akontz ile birlikte haz\u0131rlay\u0131p 1806 y\u0131l\u0131nda yay\u0131nlanan ve D\u00fcnya literat\u00fcr\u00fcne D\u00fcnya Co\u011frafyas\u0131 olarak giren onbir ciltlik kitab\u0131nda \u015funlar yaz\u0131lmaktad\u0131r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ar\u011f\u0131nimaden: Ar\u011f\u0131ni kasabas\u0131ndan 3 saat \u00f6tede bir k\u00f6y. \u0130\u00e7inden su ge\u00e7er. Bir yakas\u0131nda Ermeniler, \u00f6teksinde Rumlar oturur. Her iki taraf\u0131n da birer kiliseleri vard\u0131r. Genellikle maden i\u015f\u00e7isidirler, oradan buradan gelme. K\u00fcrtler burada bu iki milletten daha azd\u0131r.&#8221; Bu eserde T\u00fcrklerden hi\u00e7 s\u00f6z edilmemektedir. Yer bilimci, gezgin ve yazar olan W. F. Ainsworth&#8217;un 1842&#8217;de Londra&#8217;da yay\u0131nlanan iki ciltlik Asia Minor, Mesopotamia, Chaldea, And Armenia (Anadolu, Mezopotamya, Kaldea ve Ermenistan&#8217;da Seyahatler ve Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar) adl\u0131 eserinde Maden&#8217;le ilgili \u015fu bilgiler yer almakta:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c(\u2026)Ergani bak\u0131r madenlerine giderken Ergani Suyu olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan bir akarsu vard\u0131r. Ergani Suyu madene ula\u015f\u0131r. Madenin \u00e7ok g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bak\u0131r yataklar\u0131 vard\u0131r. Madenin yak\u0131n\u0131nda k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir kasaba kurulmu\u015ftur. Yakla\u015f\u0131k iki bin n\u00fcfuslu olan bu kasaban\u0131n n\u00fcfusunu b\u00fcy\u00fck bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc Ermeni ve Rumlar olu\u015fturur. Her grubun kendi kilisesi vard\u0131r. M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlar\u0131n ise k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir tahta minareli camisi bulunmaktad\u0131r.&#8221; Burada T\u00fcrklerden, K\u00fcrtlerden, Zazalardan de\u011fil, sadece M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanlardan s\u00f6z edilmektedir. V\u0131tal Cu\u0131net&#8217;in 1892&#8217;de yay\u0131nlanan La Turqu\u0131e D&#8217;as\u0131e G\u00e9ograph\u0131e Adm\u0131n\u0131strat\u0131 ve kitab\u0131&#8217;nda ise Maden ile ilgili bilgi ve istatistik rakamlar \u015f\u00f6yle verilmektedir:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ergani maden kasabas\u0131n\u0131n n\u00fcfusu, ge\u00e7imini do\u011frudan ya da dolayl\u0131 olarak maden i\u015fletmesine ba\u011flam\u0131\u015f olan insanlardan olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. N\u00fcfusun say\u0131s\u0131 i\u015fletmenin faaliyet durumuna ba\u011fl\u0131d\u0131r. Bu arada eldeki en g\u00fcvenilir bilgilere g\u00f6re kasabada; K\u00fcrt: 1.000, Gregoryen Ermeni: 1.000, Rum Ortodoks: 750, Yahudi: 405, Toplam: 3.155 ki\u015fi oturmaktad\u0131r.&#8221; T\u00fcrklere ait istatistiki bilgi bulunmamaktad\u0131r. Cilt, Paris 1892, s. 475-493)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Dil ve Din&#8221; ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alt\u0131nda yaz\u0131lanlar Kemalizm\u2019in yap\u0131s\u0131nda var olan ink\u00e2rc\u0131l\u0131\u011fa g\u00fczel bir \u00f6rnek olu\u015fturmaktad\u0131r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Maden evvel\u00e2 bir k\u00f6y, sonra bir kaza olarak kurulmu\u015ftur. 1900 de az miktarda Arap ve Fars\u00ee kelimeleri de g\u00f6ze \u00e7arpar. Burada T\u00fcrk\u00e7e olarak kullan\u0131lan kelimelerin baz\u0131 harfleri eksiliyor veya yerleri de\u011fi\u015ftiriliyor. \u0130ran ve Arap k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn neticesi olarak da\u011f T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi meydana geliyor. Baz\u0131lar\u0131 buna K\u00fcrt\u00e7e diyorlar. Halbuki ne K\u00fcrt diye bir millet ve ne K\u00fcrt\u00e7e diye bir tedvir edilmi\u015f bir lisan vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bir de Zaza diye an\u0131lan ve T\u00fcrk\u00e7eden \u00e7ok az fark\u0131 bulunan bir dil mevcuttur. Eski T\u00fcrk dili aras\u0131na kar\u0131\u015fan kelimeler dikkatle tahlil edilince T\u00fcrk h\u00fcviyetleri derhal belirmektedir. Zaza kelimesinin Sasan s\u00f6z ile yak\u0131n bir ilgisi vard\u0131r. \u2026Zaza s\u00f6z\u00fc de Sasandan ba\u015fka bir \u015fey de\u011fildir.&#8221; (s. 9)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;N\u00fcfus&#8221; ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alt\u0131nda ise \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ele vermektedir:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Maden kazas\u0131, umum\u00ee harpten \u00f6nce 1800 haneye malikti. Bak\u0131r cevherinin mevcudiyeti bir tak\u0131m Rum ve Ermenilerin buraya gelip yerle\u015fmelerini m\u00fcmk\u00fcn k\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Fakat; b\u00fcy\u00fck harpta Ermeni h\u0131yaneti ve azg\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131, illeti geriden y\u0131kma emelleri izhar etmi\u015f oldu\u011fundan bu muz\u0131r unsur memleketten uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Rumlar da istikl\u00e2l m\u00fccadelesinin sonunda m\u00fcbadeleye tabi tutulmu\u015flard\u0131r. Bu suretle Maden kazas\u0131 yabanc\u0131 unsurlardan tamamen temizlenmi\u015ftir.&#8221; (s. 10.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Krom Madeni&#8221; ba\u015fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 alt\u0131nda yaz\u0131lanlarda s\u00f6z\u00fcn ger\u00e7ek anlam\u0131yla tehdit edilip, g\u00f6zda\u011f\u0131 verilmektedir. 3 Temmuz 1937&#8217;de Guleman hava hatt\u0131 i\u015fletmeye a\u00e7\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda, Tunceli vali ve komutan\u0131 D\u00f6rd\u00fcnc\u00fc Umum\u00ee M\u00fcfetti\u015f Korgeneral Abdullah Alpdo\u011fan yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f konu\u015fmas\u0131nda \u015funlar\u0131 s\u00f6ylemektedir:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Millet i\u00e7in servet kayna\u011f\u0131 olan bu yerin ismi Gulamand\u0131r. Kocaman \u015fi\u015fman kelimeleri T\u00fcrk\u00e7e oldu\u011fu gibi Guleman kelimesi de T\u00fcrk\u00e7edir. Gula, bu\u011fday renkli adam demektir. Bu ismi koyan \u015fu halde T\u00fcrklerdir. Nesli T\u00fcrk olan bu halk\u0131n refah\u0131n\u0131 temin i\u00e7in a\u00e7\u0131lan bu m\u00fcesseselerde devlet T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi konu\u015fulacakt\u0131r. Da\u011f T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi istemeyiz. Bu havalide \u00f6z T\u00fcrk\u00e7eden gayri dil konu\u015fmay\u0131 yasak edece\u011fiz. Ba\u015fka dil bizim i\u00e7in birinci d\u00fc\u015fmand\u0131r. D\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 i\u00e7eriye almayaca\u011f\u0131z. Bu sahada muvaffak olmak i\u00e7in de evlerimizde kad\u0131nlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 \u00f6z T\u00fcrk\u00e7e konu\u015fturaca\u011f\u0131z. E\u011fer kad\u0131n \u00f6z T\u00fcrk\u00e7e konu\u015fmazsa \u00e7ocu\u011fu l\u00e2yikile T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00f6\u011frenmemi\u015f olacak, T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00f6\u011frenmeyen \u00e7ocuklar bu refah vas\u0131tas\u0131 m\u00fcesseselerde i\u015f alm\u0131yacak. \u00c7ocu\u011funun \u00f6z T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00f6\u011frenmesini ihmal eden analar \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n\u0131n d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131 olur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f6r\u00fcyorsunuz ki da\u011flar \u015fehir olmu\u015ftur. \u015eehir olan bu da\u011flarda art\u0131k da\u011f T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi de\u011fil \u015fehir T\u00fcrk\u00e7esi konu\u015fmal\u0131y\u0131z. Bunu size vazife olarak veriyorum: Her g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcz insana bu s\u00f6z ve fikirleri anlatacaks\u0131n\u0131z.&#8221; (s. 51-54)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kitab\u0131 bulup okuman\u0131z\u0131 \u00f6neririm.
