Karikat\u00fcrc\u00fcler \u00e7izgilerle d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnen sanat\u00e7\u0131lard\u0131r. Karikat\u00fcrde n\u00fckte resmin alt\u0131ndaki s\u00f6zc\u00fcklerde de\u011fil, bizzat \u00e7izgilerdedir. Bu nedenle, karikat\u00fcrc\u00fc d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini, felsefesini, anlatmak istedi\u011fi \u015feyi s\u00f6zc\u00fcklere gereksinim duymadan \u00e7izgilerle anlat\u0131r. \u00c7izgiler sanatsal bir karakter ta\u015f\u0131r ve mizah i\u00e7erir.<\/p>\n\n\n

Bazen g\u0131d\u0131klar (g\u00fcld\u00fcr\u00fcr) ve bazen de hem g\u0131d\u0131klar hem de i\u011fneler (d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcr\u00fcr).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

K\u00fcreselle\u015fme ve h\u0131zl\u0131 kentle\u015fme sonucu ya\u015fanan toplumsal sorunlar\u0131n\/kirlili\u011fin bilince \u00e7\u0131kmas\u0131na \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131r. Sava\u015f\u0131n, bask\u0131n\u0131n, haks\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n, ayr\u0131mc\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n, yoksullu\u011fun, tabular\u0131n ortadan kalkmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00e7izgilerini bir silah olarak kullan\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bir karikat\u00fcrc\u00fc olarak hem \u00e7al\u0131\u015fkan ve hem de \u00fcretkendir; ulusal ve yerel bir\u00e7ok yay\u0131n organ\u0131nda karikat\u00fcrleri yay\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\/yay\u0131mlanmaktad\u0131r. Yurti\u00e7i ve yurtd\u0131\u015f\u0131nda bir\u00e7ok \u00f6d\u00fcl alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. “Yay\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015f Karikat\u00fcrler” (1999, Mustafa Y\u0131ld\u0131z\u2019la birlikte) ve “\u00c7izgilerin Dans\u0131” (2005) kitaplar\u0131na \u015fimdi bir yenisi, “Karikat\u00fcrc\u00fcler” ekleniyor. “Karikat\u00fcrc\u00fcler portre kitab\u0131n\u0131 sizin de sevece\u011finizi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karikat\u00fcr ser\u00fcveni i\u00e7erisinde d\u00fcnyay\u0131, \u00fclkesini, insanlar\u0131 daha iyiye, daha g\u00fczele y\u00f6nlendirmeye \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan; d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini ve ele\u015ftirilerini \u00e7izgi sanat\u0131yla bizlere “Karikat\u00fcrc\u00fcler” kitab\u0131yla yeniden sunan L\u00fctf\u00fc\u2019y\u00fc kitab\u0131n yay\u0131m\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 kutluyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YOU WILL LOVE “KARIKAT\u00dcRC\u00dcLER” (A.K.A. “THE LOVE OF CARICATURE”)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caricaturists are artists who think through lines. The joke in a caricature is not in the words written under, but in the lines of the drawing themselves. Therefore, the caricaturist does tell what he wants to tell, his philosophy, his thoughts through lines, and does not need words to do that. The lines have an artistic quality and humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caricature and humor make people smile, laugh. Laughter is the medicine to brain; it activates brain. It questions and makes people think. Those who question and think are the ones who do get subdued, or molded. L\u00fctf\u00fc is one of them. When the opportunity is there, L\u00fctf\u00fc subtly ridicules with conventions and things presented as “rules”; he also interprets people s genuine and simple quailities with a touch of humor. He craftily captures the surprising, controversial, exaggerated and striking elements of daily life in his caricatures, and presents them to us caricatures “that do not avoid trouble”. Sometimes he tickles (makes us laugh) and sometimes both tickles and stings (makes us think)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He strives to shed a light upon the social problems\/pollution as a result of globalization and rapid urbanization. He uses his drawing as a weapon against war, oppression, injustice, discrimination, poverty and taboos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is hardworking and productive as a caricaturist; his caricatures have been published both in local and national press. He has received many awards in and abroad. Now comes “Karikat\u00fcr Sevgisi”, an addition to his “Yay\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015f Karikat\u00fcrler” (1999, with Mustafa Y\u0131ld\u0131z) and “\u00c7izgilerin Dans\u0131” (2005). I believe you too willlove “Karikat\u00fcrc\u00fcler”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to congratulate L\u00fctf\u00fc -who, on his journey of caricature, strives to lead the world, his country and people to a better and a more beautiful state- on the publication of his new book, through which he presents his thoughts and criticism by the means of the art of drawing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe: L\u00fctf\u00fc, by continuing to draw, will excel his original style and take his place among one of the best caricaturists in our artistic world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
