Bir\u00e7ok &#8220;solcu&#8221; sosyal-\u015foven kampa savruldu. Bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n ise solu\u011fu kesildi ya da g\u00f6zlerine &#8220;<em>perde<\/em>&#8221; indi olanlar\u0131 g\u00f6rmez oldu. \u0130\u015fin tuhaf taraf\u0131 eskiden her kim &#8220;<em>K\u00fcrt<\/em>&#8221; dedi\u011finde ya da &#8220;<em>K\u00fcrt Sorunu<\/em>&#8220;ndan bahsetti\u011finde devletin kolluk kuvvetlerinden, savc\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nce M\u00fcsl\u00fcman ge\u00e7inen &#8220;<em>dinciler<\/em>&#8221; ve &#8220;<em>dinci yazarlar\/\u00e7izerler<\/em>&#8221; salvo halinde \u0131rk\u00e7\u0131 bir s\u00f6ylem tutturup: &#8220;<em>K\u00fcrt\u00e7\u00fc<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>b\u00f6l\u00fcc\u00fc<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>y\u0131k\u0131c\u0131<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>bozguncu<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>ter\u00f6rist<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>anar\u015fist<\/em>&#8220;, &#8220;<em>K\u00fcrt\u00e7\u00fc-kom\u00fcnist<\/em>&#8221; gibi su\u00e7lamalara ba\u015flard\u0131. Din, devletin diniydi, M\u00fcsl\u00fcmanl\u0131k bunlar\u0131n elinde egemen d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin, Kemalizm\u2019in ve dahas\u0131 devletin bir bask\u0131 arac\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc. \u0130ttihat\u00e7\u0131 gelenek ve Kemalizm\u2019in att\u0131\u011f\u0131 format sonucu &#8220;<em>K\u00fcrt<\/em>&#8221; ve &#8220;<em>Ermeni<\/em>&#8221; s\u00f6zc\u00fckleri hakaret anlam\u0131nda kullan\u0131l\u0131rd\u0131. Sevindirici olan, s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olsa da art\u0131k \u0130slam\u00ee duyarl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan insanlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n da &#8220;<em>\u00fcmmetin yetimi<\/em>&#8221; K\u00fcrtler hakk\u0131nda ger\u00e7ek duygu ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerini kaleme almalar\u0131 ve konu\u015fmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Halen &#8220;<em>dinci<\/em>&#8220;lerin b\u00fcy\u00fck bir \u00e7o\u011funlu\u011fu Said-i Nurs\u00ee&#8217;nin K\u00fcrtl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc gizleseler ya da g\u00f6rmemezlikten gelseler bile, yine de bu konuda &#8220;<em>solcular\u0131<\/em>&#8221; &#8220;<em>sol<\/em>&#8220;lad\u0131lar diyebilirim&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130brahim Sediyani, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 geni\u015f tutmu\u015f. Asya, Afrika, Avustralya, Amerika ve Avrupa&#8217;da \u00e7e\u015fitli \u00fclkelerin veya uluslar\u0131n \u015fiddete dayanarak zorla ya da egemen olman\u0131n avantajlar\u0131n\u0131 kullanarak asimilasyon uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131, de\u011fi\u015ftirilen yer adlar\u0131n\u0131 tek tek s\u0131ralam\u0131\u015f. T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de ise, asimilasyon ve yer isimlerinin de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesinin sadece K\u00fcrtlerin yo\u011fun olarak ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 co\u011frafya ile s\u0131n\u0131rl\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131; Ege, Trakya, Karadeniz, Akdeniz ve Orta Anadolu b\u00f6lgelerinde sistemli bir \u015fekilde yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6rnekleriyle anlatm\u0131\u015f. De\u011fi\u015ftirilen yer adlar\u0131n\u0131 kitab\u0131nda il il, il\u00e7e il\u00e7e ele alm\u0131\u015f. Tespit edebildi\u011fi yerlerin eski ve yeni isimlerini bir bir yazm\u0131\u015f. Bu genel tabloya bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;de de\u011fi\u015ftirilmeyen yer ismi hemen hemen yok gibi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye, yer isimlerini de\u011fi\u015ftirme konusunda d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck bir rekor k\u0131rabilir. Da\u011flar\u0131n, ta\u015flar\u0131n, derelerin, tepelerin; k\u00f6ylerin, kasabalar\u0131n, kentlerin isimleri de\u011fi\u015ftirilerek K\u00fcrtlerden, Ermenilerden, S\u00fcryanilerden, Rumlardan, dahas\u0131 eski uygarl\u0131klardan kalan ne kadar isim varsa haf\u0131zalardan silinmesinin hedeflendi\u011fi a\u015fik\u00e2rd\u0131r. Ama yazar bu konuda objektif olam\u0131yor ne yaz\u0131k ki, kendi alg\u0131s\u0131na g\u00f6re olaylar\u0131 ve olgular\u0131 de\u011ferlendiriyor. Asimilasyon ve yer isimlerinin de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesine bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 da bu anlay\u0131\u015fta. Ba\u015fkalar\u0131 yaparsa k\u00f6t\u00fc, ama kendisinin mensubu oldu\u011fu inan\u00e7 sahiplerinin yapt\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, \u0130slam&#8217;\u0131n geli\u015fimi ve yay\u0131lmas\u0131yla olu\u015fan Arap-\u0130slam k\u00fclt\u00fcrel hegemonyas\u0131n\u0131n uygulad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u0130slamla\u015ft\u0131rma ve Arapla\u015ft\u0131rmay\u0131 es ge\u00e7iyor. \u0130slam&#8217;\u0131n yay\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131 esnas\u0131nda Yak\u0131ndo\u011fu&#8217;da, Ortado\u011fu&#8217;da, Anadolu&#8217;da var olan yer isimlerinin de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesini g\u00f6rmemezlikten geliyor. \u00d6rne\u011fin Diyarbak\u0131r&#8217;\u0131n tan\u0131nm\u0131\u015f, en \u00fcnl\u00fc ve ayn\u0131 zamanda Anadolu&#8217;nun ilk camisi olan Ulu Cami&#8217;nin 639 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar kilise oldu\u011funu, Mar Toma Katedrali ismiyle an\u0131lan bu yerin, H\u0131ristiyanl\u0131k inan\u0131\u015f\u0131ndan \u00f6nce de Sabilere ait G\u00fcne\u015f Mabedi oldu\u011funa hi\u00e7 de\u011finilmiyor. Bu do\u011fru de\u011fil, inand\u0131r\u0131c\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 zedeler. \u0130bn Haldun Mukaddime adl\u0131 \u00fcnl\u00fc eserinde; &#8220;<em>Elimize ge\u00e7meyen ilm\u00ee eserler, elimize ge\u00e7enlerden daha \u00e7oktur. Halife \u00d6mer (onu Tanr\u0131 yarg\u0131las\u0131n), Fars feth olundu\u011funda eski Farslardan kalma eserleri yok etmeyi emretmi\u015f oldu\u011fu i\u00e7in, Farslar\u0131n ilimleri ve eserleri yok oldu gitti. Keldan\u00eelerin, S\u00fcryan\u00eelerin ve Babil ahalisinin ilimleri, kendi \u00e7a\u011flar\u0131nda bilginlerin meydana koyduklar\u0131 eserler ve bunlar\u0131n neticeleri nerede<\/em>?&#8221; diye, hakl\u0131 olarak sorar. K\u0131ymetli bilgi ve belgelerin nas\u0131l yok edildi\u011fini, dolays\u0131yla \u015fiddete dayan\u0131larak yap\u0131lan asimilasyonu tarihe not d\u00fc\u015ferek bilim insan\u0131 olman\u0131n gere\u011fini yapar. (<em>Mukaddime-I, \u00c7ev: Zakir Kadr\u00ee Ugan, MEB Yay\u0131nlar\u0131, s.91-92<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tarihe ve tarihte ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f olaylara bir g\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc kapatarak veya \u015fa\u015f\u0131 bakmamal\u0131y\u0131z. Yazar, bu konuda biraz daha titiz davranm\u0131\u015f olsayd\u0131, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00fczel bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya g\u00f6lge d\u00fc\u015fmemi\u015f olurdu. Ama bu haliyle bile \u00f6nemli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma Ad\u0131n\u0131 Arayan Co\u011frafya. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131n, siyaset\u00e7ilerin, &#8220;<em>A\u00e7\u0131l\u0131m<\/em>&#8220;a kafa yoran \u015fah\u0131s veya y\u00f6neticilerin kitaba g\u00f6z atmalar\u0131n\u0131n yararl\u0131 olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kitab\u0131n giri\u015finde Yay\u0131nevi&#8217;nin enfes, manifesto gibi bir Takd\u00eem&#8217;i var. Bu takdimin bir b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcn\u00fc a\u015fa\u011f\u0131ya al\u0131yorum. Al\u0131nt\u0131lad\u0131\u011f\u0131m b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc okudu\u011funuzda manifesto nitelendirmemin abart\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6receksiniz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>\u0130simler; inan\u00e7lar\u0131n, a\u011f\u0131tlar\u0131n, d\u00fcnya g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015flerinin emanet\u00e7isidir.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>T\u00fcrk\u00fclerin, \u015fiirlerin, a\u011f\u0131tlar\u0131n ifade arac\u0131; \u00f6fke ve sevin\u00e7lerin akt\u0131\u011f\u0131 mecrad\u0131r\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Bunun i\u00e7indir ki otoriter rejimler ilk olarak isimleri de\u011fi\u015ftirirler. \u0130smi de\u011fi\u015ftirilenin &#8220;\u00f6z\u00fcn\u00fcn&#8221;de de\u011fi\u015fece\u011fine olan inan\u00e7la hedef al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r isimler, kelimeler ve diller.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Beldelerin ismi de\u011fi\u015ftirildi\u011finde &#8220;belleklerin&#8221;de de\u011fi\u015fece\u011fi umulmu\u015ftur.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Asimilasyon politikalar\u0131n\u0131n en etkili y\u00f6ntemlerinden biri, dilin ve kelimelerin de\u011fi\u015ftirilmesidir.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Asimilasyon, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel etkile\u015fim de\u011fildir. S\u00fcre\u00e7 i\u00e7ersinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen do\u011fal bir de\u011fi\u015fim de de\u011fildir. G\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc bir kabulleni\u015f ve i\u00e7selle\u015ftirme de de\u011fildir asimilasyon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Asimilasyon, halklar\u0131n bask\u0131c\u0131 y\u00f6ntemlerle &#8220;d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrmesi&#8221; veya sofistikle y\u00f6ntemlerle ba\u015fkala\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmalar\u0131d\u0131r. Asimilasyon politikalar\u0131 \u00f6zg\u00fcr iradeyi ve se\u00e7me h\u00fcrriyetini de\u011fil, cebir ve zorlamay\u0131 esas al\u0131r.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u0130nsanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00fcretimine sayg\u0131s\u0131 olanlar insanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n \u00fcretti\u011fi maruf olan her \u015feye sahip \u00e7\u0131kmak durumundad\u0131r.
