O, bizim g\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z, havas\u0131n\u0131 teneff\u00fcs etti\u011fimiz, suyunu i\u00e7ti\u011fimiz, sokaklar\u0131nda oyunlar oynad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z, kavgalar etti\u011fimiz, ilk a\u015fklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z <em>\u2018bizim\u2019 <\/em>il\u00e7emizdir. Oysa, ya\u015fama bi\u00e7imi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan, tarihi ve do\u011fal g\u00fczelli\u011fi\/zenginli\u011fi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan, temizlik ve modernli\u011fi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan \u00f6yle pek methedilecek bir yer de de\u011fildir. Ben bu kitapta Ergani\u2019nin da\u011f\u0131n\u0131-ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131, ba\u011f\u0131n\u0131-bah\u00e7esini, yolunu-\u00e7ar\u015f\u0131s\u0131n\u0131, k\u00f6ylerini ve merkezini, idari yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 de\u011fil; tarihe uzun bir yolculu\u011fa \u00e7\u0131k\u0131p g\u00f6rebildiklerimi, tespit edebildiklerimi ve biraz da yak\u0131n tarihimizdeki, kendimce \u00f6nemli buldu\u011fum baz\u0131 \u015feyleri anlatmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015faca\u011f\u0131m. Elbet, kitapta yer alan ki\u015filerin d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda -hem de \u00e7ok- Ergani\u2019ye hizmeti ge\u00e7mi\u015f, katk\u0131s\u0131 olmu\u015f bir\u00e7ok de\u011ferli, sayg\u0131n insan\u0131m\u0131z var; bunlar\u0131n t\u00fcm\u00fcne de sayg\u0131 duyuyorum.
